Day 8 - The Epiphany... LOL
- Here I am day 8, I have now stopped eating anything after 9pm and fortunately do not feel the need to eat anything. I started thinking that maybe I should make a monthly plan to add something healthy into my life. So, with that said, I have made a plan for January 15th.
- January 15th, I plan to begin my day a bit earlier than normal. I am going to get myself to bed by 1:00 am and be up, out of bed and eating breakfast by 9:00 am the latest. I figure I have a few days to make this plan happen. It should be pretty do-able!
- I am thinking that if the wake time works, I will add something new into my plan for a healthier me on February 1st. Not sure what to add right now but, I am thinking.
- Breakfast
- 1 choco-latte protein shake (that's chocolate in case you were wondering)
- Lunch
- 1 chocolate protein shake (mmmm, I kinda like those!)
- Mid-afternoon
- 1 chocolate protein shake - this one had a little twist on it though since I was chewing some spearmint gum at the time. OMG, it was an amazing taste. I could swear I was drinking/eating an After Eight or Andes Mint! Seriously! Maybe I should find some of that flavor drop stuff! :o)
- Dinner
- 6 oz of jumbo shrimp topped with 1/2 a cup of Tostito's salsa sauce and steamed in the microwave for 4 minutes. That was amazing, the salsa and water from the frozen shrimp made a sort of soupy sauce that had an amazing taste. I felt like I was eating something from a gourmet restaurant!
- 5 oz premixed salad with 2 tbsp of fat-free Italian dressing
- Water, water everywhere
- a hazelnut coffee with little but of milk and NO SUGAR! ya, I said NO SUGAR. I drank the entire medium cup and I liked it. So, no more sugar in my coffee.
- Snack
- 1 small green pear
- more of that water, water everywhere!
- Well, I think that is obvious to say at this point. I can now drink coffee with just a little bit of milk and NO SUGAR. I think I should find a better alternative to the dressing on my salad. I might be using to much. I also need to drink more water. I need to have at least two eight ounce glasses between each of my sittings so, I stopped at CVS tonight and purchased an aluminum water bottle that is exactly 2 cups! Cool! Also, I need to start remembering to take my vitamin in the morning. That's important. So, overall I am pretty proud and have a few little changes to work on. Thanks for reading.
