Day 1... On the Road...
Day one has been tough! Habits are tought to break. I woke at 9:30 am and had a shake. I wasn't bad but I have had better for breakfast. I kept myself busy and away from the fridge and by noon I was once again starving... I mean starving but, I could only have a shake. I chose chocolate, maybe that would kill the sweet tooth cravings. It worked!
As I drank the shake I put together the most wonderful dinner for work; talipia fish with lemon herbs and mixed green beans, wax beans and baby carrots. I was careful to weight them out. 5oz of fish (frozen), 4 oz of vegetables (frozen) and 5 oz of fresh greens salad and a small red delicious apple (4 oz YES I weighed it) I wasn't feeling to hungry at this point but again, I don't normally begin eating until after 3pm.
On my way to work, I drank the 3rd protein shake and didn't really like it too much (vanilla) but it was okay. My sweet tooth was still looking for something more! But, I did not give in to the craving!
By 5pm I was really hungry. The tilapia was the best thing I have ever tasted. I knew I could handle this. This is the diet that will work!
